Position Overview

We are looking for a full-time Business Development Intern based in Nugegoda. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to develop their business development skills while contributing to the growth of our agency. As a Business Development Intern, you will be responsible for converting online inquiries into paying clients. You will engage with leads, understand their business needs, present our services effectively, and close deals. This role requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with Australian business owners remotely.

Key Responsibilities

As our Business Development Intern, your role will involve the following tasks:

  • Respond promptly to new leads generated from our website, social media, and other digital channels

  • Contact potential clients via email, phone, and video calls to discuss their digital marketing needs

  • Qualify leads and identify the most promising opportunities

  • Understand Melbourne businesses and their unique digital marketing challenges

  • Present our services (website development, social media management, and graphic design) in a compelling way

  • Prepare and customise proposals for potential clients

  • Follow up consistently with prospects to maintain engagement throughout the sales cycle

  • Coordinate with our project team for a smooth handover of new clients

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets

  • Maintain detailed records of all prospect interactions in our CRM system

  • Provide feedback on common client needs and objections to improve our services

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in online sales and customer relationship management

  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and sales techniques

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets

  • Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (a plus)
